SYNOPSIS Jenny's life takes a turn for the worse when her precious red Electra bike is stolen. Isabel is her boss and good friend, but she's been bummed out lately. Her business, Sweet Life Pastry Shoppe, is failing and a local developer is pressuring her to sell so he can erect a monstrous office complex. Of course that means Jenny's job is threatened. Isabel gets a phone call: her favorite Aunt has died. Both she and Jenny travel to Seattle for the funeral. An inherited treasure from Isabel's aunt may hold the secret to rejuvenating her business and saving Jenny's job. Enter Sam, the owner of the neighborhood brewpub and self-proclaimed "artist." Sam and Jenny meet and set off sparks that lead to misunderstandings and (eventually) a flowering of mutual appreciation. Despite all the distractions, Jenny learns about forgiveness and compassion from unexpected sources. She begins to understand that to really feel alive, to live the "sweet life," is to embrace love, in all its forms, with passion.
